BIO

Teal Holliday is a New York-based performer, writer, and director whose work spans theatre, cabaret, film, commercials, and artistic production. Raised in Kansas City, she first found her voice through competitive forensics and choir, which led her straight into the city’s thriving professional theatre scene. After years of performing, she moved to New York to pursue formal training at AMDA, where she graduated in 2018.

Teal quickly found herself at home in the NYC cabaret world, gaining recognition as a finalist in the renowned competition So You Think You Can Belt. She also expanded her career into film and commercials, bringing her signature presence and emotional depth to screen acting. Whether delivering a soaring ballad, commanding a film set, or shaping narratives behind the scenes, she brings authenticity, passion, and artistry to everything she creates.

Right before COVID, Teal made the difficult decision to step away from performing. Though the industry paused, she found new creative outlets in interior design, event production, and artistic curation. However, a recent opportunity to return to AMDA and complete her BFA unexpectedly reignited her love for performance. Now, she’s stepping back into the spotlight—ready to make her debut (again!) with renewed purpose and an even deeper connection to her craft.

From the stage to the screen, from live performance to artistic direction, Teal Holliday is a fearless artist dedicated to bold storytelling, unapologetic truth, and creative reinvention.
